Terms & Conditions

1. Using Praxometer
Praxometer is a reading and reflection tool: importing books and articles, highlighting passages, keeping private notes, discussing inside small private groups, and publishing your own writing. By creating an account you agree to use it for that purpose, and not to import, share or publish content you don’t have the rights to.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for the security of your account and for what happens under it. Tell us promptly if you think it’s been compromised. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or the privacy of others.
3. What you keep and what you publish
Highlights, notes and drafts belong to you and stay private by default — visibility is always your explicit choice, never a setting we change on your behalf. When you publish a piece, it’s shown on your own page, credited to you, and you’re responsible for what you publish. Group discussions are shared only with the members of that group.
4. Groups
Groups are private and invitation-only. Members can see the group’s collective reading progress and shared discussion; they cannot see anyone’s individual highlights, notes or reflections. Group organisers are responsible for who they invite.
5. Acceptable use
No harassment, no infringing content, no attempts to scrape or resell other people’s private highlights, notes or drafts. We may remove content or restrict accounts that put other users’ privacy or safety at risk.
6. Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. We’ll let you know before anything material takes effect. Continuing to use Praxometer after a change means you accept the updated terms.
7. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@praxometer.app.
